paying for an LCC education
Deciding where to go to university is one of the most important decisions you will make in life. Your education affects not only what you will do professionally but the way you will live. By making a wise decision now, you will be well-equipped for the future. An
EDUCATION IS AN INVESTMENT that comes with future rewards. Although investments bring rewards, they also come with costs: time, energy, and money.
LCC international university as a private institution does not receive any financial support from the government. To cover the cost of offering a new type of education, we have to charge some fees to our students. Yet we seek to make our education available to everyone by charging less than half of the total cost for a student to attend LCC. Donations of time from LCC staff and money from individuals and organizations within North America make it possible for LCC to keep fees low.
LCC is a non-profit organization. Funds received flow directly back to pay for the upkeep of facilities and improvement of study programs. Paying your tuition enables us to give you free use of the library and computer lab, for example, and to supply you with text books and materials. We believe that next to delivering an outstanding and different academic education, the provision of pleasing studying and living facilities and functional equipment contribute towards making the LCC experience memorable and beneficial.
LCC international university offers a number of possibilities to help you pay for your studies, such as employment on campus and summer work programs abroad as well as scholarships. Find out how other students finance their LCC education:

how do other students do it?
Name: Olena Platova

I have to cover 25% of my tuition. My parents are not taking any loans but we pay the tuition in smaller parts—one payment during each month of the semester. It is easier for my parents to pay slowly rather than having to send the entire amount at once. Also, I'm planning on going to the USA to work during this coming summer, and the money I earn will cover a big part of my payments.

I have worked hard to pay for my own education here at LCC. The major source of money for me was savings I had after working for a year in the UK. Those savings covered almost two years of my tuition and expenses. During the summers I also worked in the UK or in Lithuania. I also added two loans from the Lithuanian government. Together these different sources made it possible for me to study at LCC International University, and to me the investment has been well worth it!
Name: Olena Poplavska
Hometown: Zhytomyr, Ukraine
Before coming to LCC I received financial grant that covered my tuition, dorm and living expenses at LCC. Having high academic standards and being socially active, I continued to receive financial support from LCC. During my last year I started working on campus in the Admissions department because I wanted to be involved in meaningful work that brings fruit to my life.
Name: Kira Samusiova
Hometown: Klaipėda, Lithuania
I have used many sources to finance my studies at LCC independently. Before entering LCC, I applied for a scholarship and received 50% Financial Aid. Already during my first year I got work on campus to cover my living expenses. After the first year of studies and leadership involvement, I became one of the recipients of the President Leadership Scholarship that covers 100% tuition for 3 years. All these small steps that I did had helped me to become more independent and responsible person, and reduce my parents' expenses. I believe that if a person has courage and desire, she is able to do everything. Just do not miss a chance you are given!
