campus & resources

campus LCC owns a new, 56,000-square-foot facility on seven hectares (16 acres) of land. This main campus building houses classrooms, computer labs, a spacious library, and faculty and administrative offices. Michealsen centras, the multipurpose building, seating 1,000 people for sports events and more than 1,600 people for auditorium events, is also located on the LCC campus. A dormitory, which is home to 200 students, is a 20 minute walk from LCC.

the library Nestled under the rafters of the new building's top floor, the Library offers students and staff alike a space to study and work. It provides access to an ever-expanding collection of more than 20,000 English volumes, as well as resources such as periodicals, a CD ROM database, audio-visual materials and curriculum textbooks.

the computer lab Both students and staff use two computer labs. All 45 computers in the labs have full access to the Internet, e-mail and printers.

instructional resources Faculty and staff have a range of technology available to assist in classroom preparation and to enhance student learning. Available resources include: overhead projectors, TVs and VCRs, slide projectors, a large-screen LCD projector, and shared photocopiers and printers. Faculty offices are equipped with computers that have full Internet access and Microsoft Office software.
