Immediate Special Opportunity
We are looking for someone in Ottawa, in Chicago, and in New York City who can serve immediately as power of attorney for LCC International University new faculty and staff as they submit their paperwork to the Lithuanian consulates. This will enable them to attain their temporary residence permit, which allows them to work at LCC in Lithuania. For more information, please contact Marlene Wall at mwall@lcc.lt.

The university currently has three accredited majors: Business Administration, English, and Theology. We also offer minors in Psychology, Sociology, Conflict Studies, and Lithuanian Studies. In addition to these areas, we seek faculty in a variety of other academic disciplines to round out the liberal arts curriculum. english language institute

The English Language Institute is an adult education program that provides working professionals with relevant, interactive English language instruction. These English classes are for a wide range of students, from beginner to advanced. The Institute also offers classes for 11th and 12th graders who are potential incoming LCC students.

In cooperation with local businesses, the English Language Institute offers classes for employees and business executives. These classes focus on English language skills necessary for working professionals (Business English).

The English Language Institute also is looking for experienced North American teachers willing to present workshops for local English teachers on EFL methodology. We also travel to local schools to present LCC in the English classes. In addition, we assist LCC university students on their writing skills in one-to-one tutoring sessions in the Resource Center. We offer TOEFL test preparation courses each semester.

Recurring Opportunities
General English – Six (6) instructors required each term
Business English – Two (2) instructors required each term

Qualifications
General English BA degree, preferably in general education, TESL, TESOL, linguistics, English, reading or literacy.
Business English MA degree preferred, preferably in general education, TESOL, or business. Business experience strongly recommended.

summer language institute

The Summer Language Institute (SLI) is a one-month, intensive, high-energy English language program for adult professionals and high school students.

Qualifications
Instructors – BA degree, (MA preferred) in general education, TESL, TESOL, linguistics, English, reading or literacy.
Assistants – Minimum two years post-secondary education.

Student Life works to further the LCC international learning community through developing character, values, Christian faith, life skills and leadership.
