The college currently has three accredited majors: Business, English, and Theology. We also offer minors in Psychology, Sociology, and Conflict Studies. In addition to these areas, we seek faculty in a variety of other academic disciplines to round out the liberal arts curriculum. Position: LCC Business Projects Manager

This position facilitates the ability of LCC to conduct ongoing business operations efficiently. This position is also responsible initiating and managing related business projects which contribute to LCC’s long-term financial sustainability, such as relates to operational efficiency and income development initiatives which are reliable and can be consistently maintained on a long-term basis. The Business Projects Manager may also assist in overseeing or handling business affairs, transactions, and agreements of the college with income development, cost management and/or legal considerations as directed by the CFO. This position reports to the CFO and carries out its work in coordination with the Chief Accountant and other members of the Business Office.

Qualifications
Education Bachelors degree is required.
Experience 2+ years of relevant experience.
Skills Good PC skills equivalent for a project oriented person (e.g. MS Office, particularly Excel Word). Financial and non-financial analytical and decision-making skills. Previous accounting system experience, preferably using a server-based database.
Personal Demonstrated entrepreneurial interest, personal motivation and drive, ability to be self-directed and positive and tactful interpersonal skills are all desirable personal traits for this position.

english language institute

The English Language Institute is an adult education program that provides working professionals with relevant, interactive English language instruction. These English classes are for a wide range of students, from beginner to advanced. The Institute also offers classes for 11th and 12th graders who are potential incoming LCC students.

In cooperation with local businesses, the English Language Institute offers classes for employees and business executives. These classes focus on English language skills necessary for working professionals (Business English).

The English Language Institute also is looking for experienced North American teachers willing to present workshops for local English teachers on EFL methodology. We also travel to local schools to present LCC in the English classes. In addition, we assist LCC college students on their writing skills in one- to- one tutoring sessions in the Resource Center.

The Summer Language Institute (SLI) is a one-month, intensive, high-energy English language program for adult professionals and high school students.
