Career Fair 2008
LCC International University along with its partners (Klaipėda University, Klaipėda Business and Technology College, Western Lithuania Business College, Social Sciences College, Klaipėda College, and Klaipėda Business College) invites you to take part in the “Career Fair 2008”. This annual event will be held on LCC campus on February 29th from 12 - 3 p.m. (Michealsen Center, Kretingos str. 36).
The career fair presents companies and organizations with an opportunity to meet students from Klaipėda universities and colleges all at one place. Informal interaction which happens during the fair helps business representatives understand expectations of the young people and learn what skills they have acquired that could be beneficial for their companies. Moreover, the fair is valuable to employers who are seeking to update and enrich their database of potential employees.
In addition of being valuable to employers, the event is greatly appreciated by students. They are happy to get to know a number of market leaders present at the event, learn about career opportunities that these companies have to offer as well as the requirements that they set for potential employees. The event is also a good place for students to investigate practicum and internship opportunities that various companies have to offer.
Businesses and students who participated in career fairs in the past found this event valuable and confirmed its need. Apart from gathering all universities and colleges of Western Lithuania at one place the career fair is inviting business leaders to a valuable partnership of education and business.
