distinguished alumni award

Purpose LCC International University grants the LCC Distinguished Alumni Award to honor an LCC graduate who has made a significant contribution in his or her field and who is recognized by his or her associates for outstanding achievement. Honoring outstanding graduates provides an important role model for existing students. Thus, LCC will encourage the recipient to spend a day on campus, appearing in classes, and interacting with current students.

The Award The LCC Distinguished Alumni Award consists of a printed tribute and a commemorative piece designating the recipient and the date of the presentation. In most instances, LCC will present the award at the Spring Commencement. The university also invites the recipient to spend a day on campus speaking in classes and meeting with students and faculty.
