LCC international university accepts applications for admission and financial aid from students of all nationalities and religious backgrounds who are interested in studying and living in an international learning community. Due to LCC's mission and vision, priority for admission is given in all cases to students from Eastern European and CIS countries.

We are now accepting applications for Fall 2009. Read through the application steps below to find out what's involved. Better yet, send us an email (admission@lcc.lt) or give us a call (+370 46 310 460) and learn about all of the details.

application process Applying to LCC international university is a simple and easy process:
  1. Download and complete the forms in the application package or contact the Admissions office to receive a copy by mail.
  2. Write and include 2 essays on the following topics:
    • Please describe life experiences or people who have been most influential and significant in shaping you to be the person you are today.
    • Please describe your social, academic, or professional involvement over the last five years. How does your choice to attend LCC contribute to your personal and career goal.
  3. Submit 2 references from people familiar with your character and academic background. The reference forms should be submitted in an envelope with the referee's signature across the seal.
  4. Each application is considered on an individual basis, so please submit any additional information about yourself and your achievements you believe may be helpful.
  5. Since we use English as language of instruction and communication at LCC, it is important to receive proof of your English proficiency.

    We accept the following tests for application to LCC international university:

  6. The language requirement may be waived for the following reasons:
    • You are a citizen of Great Britain, Australia, Canada, the U.S. or New Zealand.
    • You have studied in one of the above mentioned countries within the last 2 years and have a good academic record.
  7. Submit transcripts of your last three years of high school or high school diploma / university transcripts. Suggested minimum high school GPA is 7.5/10.
  8. Include a certificate of computer proficiency (Kompiuterinio raštingumo testas) if possible.
  9. Transfer a non-refundable application fee of 50 LTL (15€). For students outside of the EU, please contact the Admissions office for details. Payments can be made through:

    Please make sure your bank transfer includes the following information:
    1. Your full name
    2. The amount of the payment
    3. A description of the payment (Admission application fee for Name Surname)
    4. The date of the payment
    5. Please keep the bank slip for yourself as a proof of the payment.
  10. Lithuanian males need to be registered with compulsory Lithuanian army service in the territory they live in order to attend LCC (private university). Lithuanian males need to submit the confirmation showing compulsory army status with the application (Karo prievoles istatymas, 29 str. 5 punktas).
After reviewing your application, the Admissions Committee will schedule a personal or phone interview with you as part of the admissions process.

Application files are scored according to the following criteria:
English proficiency test result - 20% High School Grades - 50% Interview, Essays - 30%

Depending on your total admission score, the committee will decide if you will be invited to attend LCC international university. Meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission to LCC. You will receive a letter indicating either your acceptance to LCC international university or reasons why you are not accepted.
