The good will of many people contributed to the building of Balciunai Library's collection of English language resources, which is unique in the Klaipeda region. The collection currently includes about 20,000 items - books, reference publications, audio-visual materials, CD-ROM databases.

An automated catalog and circulation system provides access to the holdings, which are classified by the Dewey Decimal System. The library collection is open to the LCC community for browsing at any time during library hours.

Balciunai Library also provides access to periodical holdings, theses and a collection of curriculum textbooks. Each of these has special circulation procedures.
